How much does it cost?
The cost depends on the service that is being performed. Our cost for a routine spray treatments are based on the square footage of the structure, the location and the amount chemical is it going to take to take care of the problem. The cost for rodent work is very hard to determine without inspecting the property. Our inspection cost $75, but will be apply to any rodent that is done by us. For bed bugs the price for use liquid chemical to treat them is dependent on the number of rooms in the entire house. This is because the whole structure will need to be treated in order to resolve the problem. The better option is to fumigate the house. The price is based on cubic footage of the structure.

Does Eric The Bug Guy guarantee their services?
Yes. We provide warranties for our single service and maintenance plans. Each service is covered for a certain insects. A single service is covered for a single pest and a maintenance plans is covered for several different pests.
Are our pest control methods safe?
Eric The Bug Guy uses professional pesticides that have been approved by the Enviromental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Pesticide Regulations (DPR). We use these pesticides according to label, which is the law.
Will you be required to vacate your home or business during each service?
Depends on the pest that we are treating. Most services are completed without having to vacate the home or business, although there are some pests require a customer to vacate for up to 4 hours.
How long before a pet can go in to yard after treatment?
Depends on the weather. If it is a warm or hot day, the pesticide normally take 15-20 minutes to dry. Our recommendation is once the ground is completely dry, the pets can go into the yard.
Will the pesticides stain my floor or baseboards?
We are very careful and conscienious about our customers property. There are some pesticides out there that do stain, but we try to stay away from those type of pesticides.
How do we treat ants?
We use a special chemical that is non-repellent. The reason for this is that ants can detect standard repellents, like aerosol spray. The non-repellent chemical will be carried down into the nest a kill colony, rather just the few on the surface. Also, we use a sugar bait on the interior of the home or business in case that ants comes up from places that the non-repellent chemical can’t be sprayed.
How to get rid of spiders?
The chemical we use is a 2 part chemical……one part is a knock down and the other part is a residual. Also, we will use a special broom called a webster to remove the reachable spider webs. The reason we do this to monitor the spider activity and deter the spiders away.
How do tell if you have bed bugs?
Bed bugs leave black marks on your bed sheets and the seam of the mattress. Also you will normally have multiple large bites on you.
What kind of bug do I have?

Put the pest in a plastic bag or use a piece scotch tape for capture it.
Don’t spray any chemicals on the pest unless you know which ones work best.
Don’t place the pest sample in the sun for too long.
How often do you need to do service?
There are many factors to selecting the right pest control plan for you. Some pests, like spiders require more fequent services, where other pest don’t require as many. This is why we offer customize pest control plans. Another factor might be money. The more frequent the service the more it cost. Lastly, some people want the most services as possible to keep the pests away.
